Abracadabra Club of Washington, D.C. Records
The records consist of meeting minutes, attendance records, financial records, correspondence, clippings, pamphlets, photographs and yearbooks, all related to the activities of the Abracadabra Club and its members. The collection also contains two gavels and a block used to call meetings to order. The records reflect the intellectual interests of the members of the Club and cover a wide variety of topics spanning over a century of time.
Albert W. Atwood Collection

The collection consists of scrapbooks containing Albert W. Atwood’s articles and editorials from The the Saturday Evening Post and The National Geographic Magazine, as well as three books and a poster from the DC Public Library. Also included are photographs, articles, and awards.
The control file for this collection contains a title index of Mr. Atwood’s articles and editorials from The Saturday Evening Post.

The collection consists of materials collected by Frank E. Braxton, Sr. Materials include clippings, correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, and 3D materials including license plates and campaign buttons.
Capital Bicycle Club Collection
District of Columbia Civil War Centennial Commission Records
The collection contains materials related to Commision planning and events; including correspondence, clippings, photographs, booklets, programs, and other memorabilia.
District of Columbia Militia Scrapbook Collection
The collection consists of three scrapbooks about the D.C. Militia (National Guard) Engineer Battalion. Materials included in the scrapbooks include: clippings from local and national newspapers, correspondence, programs, flyers, maps, blueprints, and photographs. The scrapbooks are labeled "1890-1898," however, the materials extend to 1906. Each scrapbook contains notes at the beginning regarding the contents.
District of Columbia Police Department Scrapbooks Collection
The four scrapbooks that make up this collection contain clippings, programs, and photographs documenting the successes and failures of the Metropolitan Police Department. Also included in these scrapbooks are clippings related to the King and Queen of England.
Arrington Dixon Papers
The Arrington Dixon Papers Collection contains materials including campaign ephemera; correspondence; newspaper clippings and publications; photographs; pamphlets; and other documents related to Dixon’s political campaigns, work in city government (especially for the District of Columbia City Council), and personal life. The bulk of the collection covers 1953 to 1989.
Karl Fenning Papers
The collection consists of personal and professional correspondence, professional publications, clippings, genealogical and biographical information, memorabilia and family photographs. The materials are divided into four series: Professional Papers, Personal Papers, Photographs, and Ephemera.
Madeline Frank Collection
This collection consists of photos, clippings, correspondence, and a copy of the Washington College handbook, as well as a diary titled The College Girl’s Record, which includes images, clippings, invitations, and Madeline Frank’s impressions of Washington College and her classmates.
